Community Access
Getting out — appointments, shopping, social plans, somewhere new.
Most of life happens outside the house. We help with the bits that need a hand — and stay out of the way for the bits that don’t.
What an outing might look like.
- Social — meeting friends, going to a club, catching up over coffee
- Appointments — getting there, getting back, support during if needed
- Shopping — at the participant’s pace, with the participant in charge
- Hobbies and classes — whatever the participant is into
- Making connections — local groups, community events
- Goal-based outings — building toward something specific in the plan
For anyone who wants to get out and do things.
Some participants want to try new things. Others want to keep doing what they love, with someone there. We’re comfortable with either.
For families
Outings get planned. You know where, when, and who with.
For coordinators
Progress notes tied to plan goals. Easy to include in reports.
A few things to know.
Participant chooses
The participant picks where, what, when. We’re there to support, not direct.
Connection, not box-ticking
Outings should mean something. Not just hours logged.
Cultural identity matters
The places we go and the people we meet — that’s part of the plan.
Support, not surveillance
We help where it’s needed. We step back where it’s not.
